You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Brought to our door by a little girl late one Thursday evening, Lizzie (shown with friend Fawn, a yellow kitten) was starving. She was obviously someone's precious pet at one time but had been allowed to get outside and had to fend for herself. Little Orphans Animal Rescue took her in, had her spayed and vaccinated, treated her for fleas and dewormed her. She turned out to be so very sweet, she is a major lap kitty and will sit with her person for hours. When she is on her favorite lap or is relaxed she lets her little tongue stick out a bit. She is so cute! One eye is a bit smaller and squintier than the other and seems to be runny most of the time. But that is the least of her problems. There is no way to know for sure but Lizzie may have been attacked by another cat who had FIV because Lizzie is now FIV+. Lizzie has not been sick one day since coming to Little Orphans. Other than her runny eye there are no symptoms of anything wrong. Lizzie's other photo is just of her. Her ear was tipped when she was under anesthetic being spayed. This was done because Little Orphans was doing a Trap Neuter Return program and she would have been released outside after being spayed so she would not produce any more kittens. Clipping the ear is a signal that this animal has been spayed or neutered. Lizzie turned out to be such a wonderful cat that Little Orphans decided to try to find her a home where she would be loved and cared for in the way she deserves.
